     We at First Baptist Church of Meredith would appreciate the opportunity of using this website to briefly introduce you to who we are and why we are here. We would like to extend a cordial invitation for you to come and be our guest, offering you the opportunity to meet and worship with your neighbors. Joining us makes it possible to grow in your knowledge of and relationship with the Lord, to make new friends and to participate in family activities.

     We are a family oriented church that stands on the Word of God. We believe that the heartfelt needs of all people, not only can, but will be satisfied as God's Word is properly understood, obeyed and then applied in our day to day lives. Our church is here to minister to people of all ages and walks of life for God's glory.

Reverend Stephen R. and Dianne Neill

 Pastor Steve has been the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church since October of 1996. Pastor Neill left a career in banking to respond to the call of fulltime ministry, moving from New England to attend Southeastern Bible College in Birmingham, Alabama.  Shortly after graduation he was commissioned by Philadelphia Baptist Church of Birmingham to be their home missionary church planter to New England. Following 13 years of ministry in church planting he accepted the call of First Baptist Church in Meredith, NH.  

Dianne is the founder and leader of the Women's Ministry of First Baptist which has reached out to women across the Lakes Region through Women's Bible Study, social teas and organized women's conferences and weekend getaways. Pastor Steve and Dianne have four grown children, 3 grandchildren.  Their deepest desire is to see the lives of any person coming through the church doors changed by the power of the Spirit of God which is at work here.
